This city park spreads across over 90 acres of land that is decorated beautifully with gardens and rockery. It encloses several tombs from the Lodi and Sayyid Dynasties, both which operated primarily from in and around Delhi. Some of the tombs include Mohammed Shah’s Tomb, Tomb of Sikandar LodiShisha Gumbad and Bara Gumbad.

After the tombs were built, through the 15th and 16th century, there were villages located right beside the tombs. In 1936, people from these villages were relocated to revamp the space into the garden that it is today.

The tombs in the park have been in existence since several years, some of them built even in the 15th century. Since some of the structures are in a deteriorating state, the space is protected by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
